I’m guilty of being a non-flosser. That is, until Reach Access Flosser came onto the scene. This little doodad makes it much simpler and cleaner than having string around the fingers and trying to get into the crevices of my mouth. I have to admit that it’s still hard for me to floss daily, but now, visits to the dentist aren’t as embarrassing.

I’m not a huge tea person, but I love green tea, especially from MyGreenTea! My favorite is Genmai Matcha [includes rice kernels and popped rice]. A lot of my friends became fans of this particular one after trying it as well.
I get Genmai Matcha 50-3gm tea bags for home and Genmai Matcha 50-2gm tea bags to take on travels. You can get it directly from them or at your local store for you Seattleites. It’s a little on the pricier side, but totally worth it!

I’ve been using these paper towels for years, and others that I’ve tried thus far pale in comparison to the quality and thickness of Viva. I’m not a big fan of wiping things off the counter with *insert noun* seeping through. It’s a bonus that the name is inspirational.
Here’s a coupon since we all need to save somewhere because of the outlandish gas prices.

Enjoying my favorite blooms, peonies, before their season is over. Peonies are so beautiful for weddings.

For the longest time, I carried a mini lint roller around in a Ziploc bag but that was definitely not cool. When I discovered these pocket pack lint sheets, I had one of those “Why didn’t I think of that?” moments.
I use them mostly at weddings since lint and fuzz tend to show up and cling onto groom|groomsmen tuxedos and suits.
This product is slim and handy to keep in your purse, glove compartment, or wherever you want. Here’s a coupon while you’re at it.

I just got back from a Steven Curtis Chapman concert and I continue to admire him as a singer|songwriter. You see, he’s been doing this for a long time, and with many awards and accolades under his belt, he’s still going at it.
He holds a special place in my heart because my late brother loved his music, and his was the last concert we attended together. After my brother passed away, I listened to SCC’s song “With Hope” a gazillion times which helped me through extremely hard times.
His latest album This Moment includes a daddy-daughter tribute called “Cinderella.” I’m not a father, let alone a mother, but still, it touches my heart. Before our concert, he received a phone call from his oldest daughter saying that she got engaged so he choked up while singing this song. To see the music video, click the images.
Other musicians that I love are listed on Hunny’s blog post.

I’ve been out of the country, but Grace Picks is back in full effect! And I’m so excited to present today’s Pick!
Ladies, where do you put your purse when you’re at a restaurant? On the floor? Insanitary. In your seat behind you or on your lap? Uncomfortable. Hanging on your chair? Risky.
Purse hangers are the perfect solution and I’m convinced that this brilliant little doodad is what every woman needs!
You can get your own from PurseJewelry, PursePal or Zookhooks.

Bring Your Own Bag… or Baggu in this case.
This guilty feeling came over me whenever I was at the checkout counter because of all the plastic and paper bags that were going to waste. I even bought a cute canvas tote last year but it was too expensive to buy more than one and also kind of bulky to carry around. Then, I found Baggu!
You can choose your favorite color or have a variety of different colors. I got some in Red and some in Smoke. They are reasonably priced and are cheaper as you buy more. They are very lightweight and can easily slip into a pocket or purse. A good reason to BYOB.

I’m not an all out tree-hugger, but I’ve been more intentional about how I can participate in helping our earth. Below are just a few ways our household has been making changes:
- using the dishwasher
- stopping paper statements and doing mostly online banking
- switching out to energy-saving light bulbs
- buying more organic products
- reading magazines at a bookstore and not buying|subscribing as much.
Here are some more tips from a fellow Grace.
Happy Earth Day friends!
